Awareness on Environmental Hazards

4M Trust in collaboration with Tamilnadu Slum Clearance Board (TNSCB) organised Awareness program on Degradable and non-degradable things and how to handle them. The participants were taught in the training program on the importance of knowing about Degradable and non-degradable things, what are the Degradable and non-degradable things and how to classify them, why should we classify them keep them separately and the recycling of the non-degradable things.

The trainings were organized at JM Nagar, Nandanam and Mylapore. More than 5000 SHG women are being benefitted from the training.

The participants were made aware on the issues and topics of What are Wastes?, Kinds of Wastes, Classification of Wastes according to their Properties, Classification of Wastes according totheir Effects on Human Health and the Environment, Classification of wastes according to their origin and type, Sources of Wastes, MAGNITUDE OF PROBLEM: Indian scenario, Impacts of waste on health, Effects of waste on animals and aquatics life, Impacts of waste on Environment and WHAT SHOULD BE DONE.

Awareness on Leprosy :

Awareness created for SHG women on leprosy. About 7500 women had got benefitted from the training. The trainings were conducted at Alwarpet, Vanagaram, Teynampet and Tondiarpet.

HIV AIDS : 4M Trust organized Awareness at T Nagar, Ganagam, Teynampet, Tonidarpet and Saidapet. About 7500 women had got benefitted from the program.

Environment :

Awareness created for SHG women on leprosy. About 7500 women had got benefitted from the training. The trainings were conducted at Alwarpet, Vanagaram, Teynampet and Tondiarpet. The 4M Trust was founded by
Mr. B.S. Abdur Rahman in the year April 2005 exclusively to identify women below poverty line and to improve their living conditions by motivating them in various ways.

Managing Trustee

  • Mr. Abdul Qadir Abdul Rahman Buhari is the Trustee of the organization. He has achieved great milestones at a very young age and now the Managing Director of West Asia Maritime Ltd (WAM). Mr. Abdul Qadir has spent extensive time towards the welfare of the organization since its inception.
